WW II Peace Rally during Hornbill Festival 2011

The World War II Peace Rally was the main attraction among other Hornbill Festival  2011 events held on November 03 at Kisama. The convoys of 12 vintage WW II Jeeps were used in the Rally which started from DDSC Stadium, Dimapur and finally culminated at the WW II Museum in Kisama.

The Gold Trophy went to Team Manipur for their excellently replicating WW II army jawans and for their World War II original vehicle.

The Team Nagaland won for the Best Maintained Vehicle Trophy while the Best Promotional Team Trophy went to Team Meghalaya.
