World’s Highest Skywalk to be built in Sikkim

The only organic state of India – Sikkim to come up with the world’s highest skywalk built at Dhapper, Yangang. The Bhaleydhunga Skywalk Project will stand at a height of 10,300 ft with world class infrastructure.

In an attempt to attract more tourists to the state. The project was first initiated in 2013, over the Maenam Wildlife Sanctuary, from Bhalleydhunga peak to Mahadeo Than in South Sikkim.

“The Skywalk Project is expected to bring an overhaul in the economic and livelihood development of the region and also create an array of new business opportunities and tourism services,” said Sikkim CM Pawan Chamling.

He also added, ‘Ropeway and proposed Skywalk Project at Bhaleydhunga is very close to my heart as it is being built in my native village.’ The skywalk is scheduled to open before by 31st December 2018.
