The Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India has given approval for visa-on-arrival facility at the Indo-Myanmar border town Moreh, for Myanmarese Nationals coming to Manipur for medical treatment.
The decision was approved on January 31, for setting up of an immigration office at Moreh, as per reported by Hueiyen Lanpao today.
Application for the visa should be made 15 days ahead of arrival and it should indicate the name of the hospital where the applicant is to be treated. The applicant or the patient can be accompanied by two of his/her attendants.
The visa is valid for a month and the applicants should possess valid Myanmarese passport.
