How to prepare Hot Pork Pickle


  •  1/2 Kg pork cut into small pieces of around 1 cm cube
  • Lemon juice (1 lemon)
  • 1 teaspoon coriander powder
  • 1 teaspoon cumin powder
  • 1 teaspoon pepper powder
  • 1 teaspoon brown sugar
  • Salt to taste
  • 1/2 cup vinegar
  • 50 gm crushed ginger
  • 50 gm crushed garlic
  • 50 gm grinded red chilies. Add some u-morok if you want it more spicy.
  • 2-3 teaspoon of mustard oil. Do not use too much oil.


Mix all the ingredients and keep it overnight for around 10-12 hours. Heat the mustard oil and cook the mixture for around 45-50 minutes. Cool it and store in a jar. Dry in sun for 3-4 days.
