A self-taught designer, who produced her first fashion show while still studying in Eleventh standard is one of the first tribal jewellery designers from the NE region. About her 2015 London Fashion Week collections, Yana says, “This is my debut show outside India and every piece of jewelry and fabric that we showcased has a unique story and emotion behind it”.

“I am overwhelmed with the support and appreciation we are getting after the event. Our tradition and fabric are exotic. Especially our silk like Muga and Eri are of world class. All the designers and buyers liked the quality and we can look forward to take our traditional fabric and art manship to the international level”, adds Nabam Aka.
