Former Miss Nagaland to represent India at 2016 Miss Asia Pacific World

Former Miss World Beauty India and Miss Nagaland Imlibenla Wati has been selected to represent India at the Miss Asia Pacific World 2016 that will be staged next month in Shanghai, China.

Morung Express writes “She was screened out of top 10 Indian entries based on a communiqué received from Big Break Entertainment, which is the official India’s franchise for “Miss Asia Pacific World” (now renamed as Miss Super Talent of the World).

Unlike other beauty pageants, “Miss Super Talent of the World” is a unique international showcase of talent and not merely just a beauty pageant. It has sights set on film stars, pop icons, singers and supermodels. Notably, Bollywood actress Dia Mirza won Miss Asia Pacific World in 2000.

The 21-year-old beauty from Changki in Mokokchung was crowned Miss World Beauty India 2015 after winning the first-runner up title of Rubaru Miss India Elite and represented the country at the Miss World Beauty International held in South Korea the same year.

She also represented India on behalf of the official entrant who failed to participate at the Miss Pan Continental World 2015 at Philippines and emerged as the Ambassador of Tourism and Humanity in subtitle category.
