Michael Learns To Rock touring Guwahati and Dimapur this December

Danish pop rock band Michael Learns to Rock (also known as MLTR) will be touring Guwahati on 13th December and Dimapur on 15th December, as part of their upcoming 2015 India Tour dates.

Although no official press releases have been issued about the said tour by the band, their upcoming concert posters were put on display at North East Festival 2015 in New Delhi earlier this month.

Confirming the report, “The tour dates are set. Due to some venue issues in the North East, things got delayed. Tickets will be available on soon”, disclosed Ramngachan Kazingmei Shimrei, partner and sound engineer at 7 Sisters Entertainment, who is managing the entire MLTR tour production.

In the past, they have brought down to India; FireHouse, Higher on Maiden and a couple of other international acts.

December 15 – NEZCC Ground, Dimapur
December 17 – Calcutta Cricket and Football Club, Kolkata

Michael Learns to Rock has already toured India twice. Their live album titled “The Live Musical Adventures of Michael Learns to Rock-I Walk This Road Alone” featured 14 live audio recordings mostly from their September 2005 concert at Shillong.

Formed in 1988, the band has recorded eight studio albums and sold over 11 million records worldwide, mainly in Asia, and their single “Take Me To Your Heart”, a remake of 1993 popular Chinese classic – Jacky Cheung´s “Goodbye Kiss” garnered over 6 million paid downloads, which was awarded the “most downloaded single of the year 2006”, says the official MLTR biography.

Helloween – December 7 at Hornbill Festival 2015, Kohima (Nagaland)
FireHouse – December 12 at Jowai, Meghalaya
