Kynrem falls of Meghalaya

The Kynrem falls is the 7th highest waterfall in India, with water falling from a height of 305 metres (1,001 ft). It is a three tiered waterfall located in the Thangkharang Park near Cherrapunji in the East Khasi Hills district of Meghalaya.

This fall offers a spectacular sight especially when viewed from below with the water gushing down at full speed on to the rocks forming a mist and spray on the onlookers. However, the best views of this waterfall is from a lookout deck within the Thangkharang Park, which is a peaceful little botanical garden containing some benches and ideal spot for picnic and one can see the three levels of the fall as well as the water flowing down under the bridge in all its grandeur.
