Nagaland GIS & Remote Sensing Center has uploaded a couple of stunning 360 degree images of the state’s popular iconic landmarks including Nagaland Secretariat, Kohima Police Headquarters, Kohima WW2 Cemetary, Nagaland Legislative Assembly and Kohima Cathedral on the virtual reality and 360 degree photography sharing platform Kuula.

Despite of all the difficulties, the team managed to hire a helicopter and this photo shoot was accomplished, delivering Nagaland’s first virtual photo tour above Kohima city.
Sharing an image with such a large file size and high resolutions in Photosphere or Panoramic formats also presents a problem. Nagaland GIS & Remote Sensing Center used Kuula, a media platform dedicated to 360 views which allows users to post and share large gigapixel files.
