Biking through the enchanting hills of Northeast India is about to get a big jolt. It’s the best way to explore a destination with several route options.
A Guwahati-based startup Ahija.com have rolled out their bike booking App for public rental to the streets of Guwahati, and Northeast, earlier this year. The Android App offers bikes on rent, travel destination routes and extends weather forecast service.
The young venture led by CEO Upakul Talukdar, one of the quartet co-founders, hopes to connect travelers to explore the Northeast region a lot better. The bike pick-up point is located at Zoo Road, Guwahati and offers various range of motorcycles including a few Royal Enfields, Bajaj Palsar and other gearless scotties.
Their rental starts from Rs. 20 to Rs. 60 per hour with no hidden charges and unlimited kilometers based on an hourly or daily basis.
To rent one, riders must download the app available on Google Play store. You don’t have to make any security deposits while booking the bikes. Just a photocopy of your driving license and an alternate government issued ID proof as collateral.
