Luguthang in Arunachal Pradesh — It normal takes 10 hours long trekking on foot from Jang in Tawang district to reach this unexplored paradise which is usually left snow-covered most of the year. The valley offers a great delight for trekkers and nature lovers.
It lies about 50 km from Tawang and close to the Mac Mahon Line, yet reaching it is an endless journey. Luguthang is arguably one of the remotest mountainous terrains in India, without no motorable road connectivity. However, amid this desolation, the villagers inhabiting in and around the Thinbu Circle of Tawang District, see a beacon of hope in the construction of the trans-Arunachal Highway.
